To The Voters of District Three:

THANK YOU!

Well, we did it! You and I, we did what everyone said we couldn’t! We brought change to the East Haven Town Council. We brought a new voice to District Three—your voice!

This is the start of a very exciting two years for those of us in the Third District. As the only Democrat elected to the East Haven Town Council I look forward to the challenges and opportunities that my term will provide. But just as I could not win the Election without your support, I cannot serve alone either.

Many of you may know the Town Council is a volunteer opportunity. While I am delighted to serve my community in this fashion I, like so many of you, must still hold down a full time job. So we will need to work together. My hope is to keep the momentum of my campaign going. Though it is too dark and cold to come to your door at this time of the year, I hope to stay as connected to you as I did from July to November. I welcome your input on the most favorable and cost-effective methods of communication. I am currently working on launching a website and my plan is to use it as a tool keep you informed of the details of all Town Council Meetings and any other issues that arise. In return I ask that you contact me about your concerns and that you attend as many Town Council meetings as possible (They take place at 7:30 on the first Tuesday of every month at the E.H. Community Center). I also ask that you keep me informed of any events happening in your children’s schools or with your local and civic organizations so that I may attend as my schedule allows. In addition, I would like to send out an email newsletter so please provide me with your email address at AprilinNovember@hotmail.com

If you do not have access to a computer please call me (234-2026) and we will make other arrangements.

Lastly, I ask that you have patience with me.

Please remember that this is a collaborative effort between us. I was very honest during my campaign about the fact that I could not work miracles. But I did promise to give you my very best and that is what I intend to do.
